Book Your Mountain Vacation

General Information

DIRECTIONS: Google Maps and other mapping platforms may attempt to take you to the back entrance of the development, which is incorrect. The main entrance is marked by a sign on Highway 64 that says “Catatoga”. Chimney Creek Lodge can be found by driving past the Catatoga sign at the main entrance, taking your first right and then turning left.
CAUTION: Please watch your step when walking down stairs and steep pathways, particularly the composite stairs and the rock stairs down to the creek behind the house.

Parking

  • Additional overflow parking is located on the street to the left and right.
  • You may park at least one car in the gravel/moss area to the left when facing the street from the left, roughly 100 feet away
  • You may also park in the designated overflow area to the right when facing the street from the house, roughly 250 feet away

Cable

  • If you turn on the TV then use the input for the Fire Stick on the downstairs and main level TVs, you will find the Comporium app, which is our cable service.

House Main Level

Hurricane doors

  • Double doors on main level lock left door first, so make sure left is locked then rapidly pull up handle on right door before turning the knob to the left to lock the right door.

Kitchen appliances

  • There are additional appliances in front of bar stools and also some in pantry.

Plates

  • Additional plates are located in the buffet table by dining table.

House Main Level

Air conditioning

  • Basement mini split units downstairs can be set to different temperatures but all need to be on same mode (example heat or cool) to function properly.

Storage of games and Activities

  • Green Cabinet
    • DVDs and DVD Player
    • Sifters for mining, please put back dried only
  • Utility Closet

    • Large tub full of outdoor games, including golf for the big field

    • 2 folding chairs for outdoor or other utility usage. Please store inside

  • TV Console

    • Filled with games/ puzzles for all ages. Our family loves games and we hope you do too! Please try your best to keep all parts together

Bunkroom

  • Beds have their own lights to turn on/off, along with a USB outlet

Within the Development/Community

Fishing

  • Only fly fishing is permitted in the creek but spinning tackle may be used in the lake

Pool

  • The pool is adjacent to the club house, which is located across the bridge then up the hill on the right (provided you visit at a time of year when it is open).

Kayaks

  • Kayaks are available for use on the lake.

    • They are located to the left of the lake dock when facing from land.

    • Please put them back how you found them and watch out for snakes when lifting the kayaks or in the storage houses.
